A mask is worn To hide your face You wear a shield Its steel embrace.
Your amour is thick Hard to penetrate You will show no one Your shattered state
You try to stay strong This battle you must win But your hope is dwindling Fading in all the sin.
Your will and strength are vanishing No longer will you fight Silently you shall disappear Like a shadow in the night.
But have no fear dear warrior I’ll come and set you free With my joyous ray of light The shadows run from me.
I’ll take away your armor And mend your shattered soul No longer will you struggle There will be no pain to hold.
The battle will finally end With you in victory And you will finally rest With naught but memories.
Yes your life will be met with struggle But you shall fight anew Because I am your companion And I’ll always see you threw. ©Sandra Terry 2006
